Thermal
Transfer Ribbons
Labels can be printed using several different technologies. One of the most
popular methods however is called thermal transfer printing which uses
roll-form labels and printing ribbons. This technology needs lower heat to
transfer a printed image than some printing methods so you have the widest
variety of paper and film materials at your disposal. You also have the most
extensive choice of adhesives to fit special labeling applications. Because the bond of a
well-matched ribbon to a label can be far superior to other ink
technologies, you get the best print durability and you can often avoid the need
for a protective film laminate.
Unlike many suppliers, Electronic Imaging Materials doesn’t handle just one
manufacturer’s line of ribbons, but instead has a thorough cross-section of
high-quality ribbons made by some of the most trusted companies in the label
industry. We will help
you find the best
Type of Thermal Transfer Ribbon for your label, printer
and application.
